Communications
From digital media to cost-effective direct mail, I have a proven track-record of making communications work to encourage giving, drive attendance, and strengthen branding and recognition. I also know how to measure the success of campaigns and ensure that messages are delivered...and heard.
Here is a short list of what I can help you do for your organization: press campaigns, website design and implementation, e-mail communications and social media, and all types of print publications.
Resources
Keeping track of your organization’s assets and using them in the most efficient and effective way can be a challenge for many nonprofits. I use a lot of different tools to manage them including:
financial reporting and forecasting,
database development and management,
policies and procedures, and personnel and volunteer management systems
Partnerships
There is no better way to extend your reach than to work with other organizations, businesses, and individuals who share your vision and support your mission.
Like any valuable resource, partnerships need to be cultivated and maintained. I love working with like-minded people and organizations to do great things together. I have extensive experience working with volunteers, sponsors, and donors and I know how to keep them coming back year after year.
It can be one of the most-rewarding and impactful thing your organization does this year.
Programs
Chances are your non-profit is managing several programs to accomplish your mission and get you closer to your vision for success. Measuring deliverables, determining scalability, measuring your return on investment, and gathering feedback are all critical ways to ensure that your programs are successful.
I can help you do all of this with business applications that many non-profits have the resources to put in place, including:
long-term and short-term strategic planning,
feedback systems, and business plans and modeling.
Outreach
An organization’s outreach efforts drive everything. They have to be targeted and measurable. The more people who know what you are doing, the more supporters and support you get—and you need a road map.
I developed and grew a national outreach program that engaged hundreds of different communities around the country. While there were a lot of similarities, each one had its own unique set of variables that led to success.
Each time I was introduced to a new community, I tailored these essential outreach elements to individuals, businesses, local media, and volunteers: communications;
media; volunteer recruitment, training, and cultivation; advertising and marketing; and
fundraising and in-kind support.
